Ingredients
- 3 Tbls Oil
- Tbls Pure Butter
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Tumeric powder
- 1 tsp Cartwrights curry powder mild (YELLOW BOX)
- 1level Tbls Curry powder/Masala
- 1level tsp Sugar
- Salt – to taste
- 1 pk Fresh coriander
- 1/2 tsp Crushed garlic and ginger
- 2pks Woolworths Grabouw Boerewors – chopped
- 2 tins Koo baked beans
- 1 Green chilli
- 3 Cloves
- 100ml Water

Method
- Heat the oil and then add the onions, chilli, Pure butter, cumin seeds, and 3 cloves.
- When onions are slightly brown add the turmeric powder, cartwrights powder and curry powder and same water.
- It should simmer for about 10 minutes
- Add your chopped up boerewors.
- Allow to cook for 5-6 minutes and then add the garlic and ginger, salt and sugar.
- This should cook for at lest 10 minutes.
- Then stir in the baked beans and allow to cook for further 10 min. Add salt if necessary.
- Then sprinkle your cumin powder on top and close the lid. Allow to simmer for 5 minuts. After 5 minutes stir the pot and then top it with fresh coriander. voila all done.
- SERVE ON A BED OF RICE OR WITH FRESH BREAD, Yummy!!
