allfashion sourcing Cape Town: Re-branding ATF Expo and
Source Africa

allfashion sourcing Cape Town and China Premium Tex postponed to 13-15 October 202
Due to the increased spread of the Corona Virus in South Africa, Messe Frankfurt and CCPIT Tex have decided to postpone allfashion sourcing Cape Town and China Premium Tex after assiduous consultations with our partners. The shows which were scheduled to take place from 2-4 June 2020 are now scheduled to take place between the 13-15 October 2020 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Messe Frankfurt South Africa and CCPIT Tex takes the safety of its exhibitors, sponsors, partners, speakers, and attendees very seriously. “We must acknowledge that these are challenging times all around the globe. In light of the South African president’s announcement on COVID-19, it is important for us as trade fair organizers to make the appropriate decision for the safety of our local and international exhibitors, visitors, partners and stakeholders,” says Joshua Low, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt South Africa.
“In the course of fighting against the coronavirus, the Chinese people are united in containing the epidemic scientifically and accurately, and have already successfully won a major victory within their own boarders. We at CCPIT Tex understand the importance of containing the spread of the virus at a very early stage, so we fully agree with the decision of postponing the shows. We do believe this decision is to the best interest of all involved parties, our clients and attendees. In October, we are looking forward to witnessing a fresh and successful allfashion sourcing and CPT show in beautiful Cape Town,” says Mr. Xu Yingxin, Vice President of CNTAC, Chairman of CCPIT TEX.
allfashion sourcing Cape Town is now an integral member of Messe Frankfurt’s Texpertise Network consisting of 58 international fairs and through this affiliation will gain more international exposure. At the same time it allows Messe Frankfurt to increase a foothold on the African continent, as South Africa is seen as a stepping stone for business with other Sub-Saharan countries and offers opportunities in niche markets for smaller manufacturers.

allfashion sourcing Cape Town is a business-oriented marketplace combining African creativity, design and manufacturing with international sourcing options. The fair will be tailored to the needs and realities of the Southern African textile, leather and fashion industry. The re-branding brings with it added experiential elements and new exhibitor profiles to ensure that the needs of the textile industry in Southern Africa are catered for.
