- Cardi won the Best Rap Album award at the Grammys, becoming the first solo woman to ever do so.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past three days, Cardi B made history Sunday night by being the first solo woman to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys. But for some ridiculous reason, people are pissed about it. Lady Gaga has some thoughts on this.
‘It is so hard to be a woman in this industry,’ she tweeted in response to the hate against Cardi. ‘What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art. I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.’View image on Twitter

Cardi unexpectedly deleted her entire Instagram account in response to all the hate, and she posted a video explaining her decision beforehand.
