When decorating a small space, I’ve learnt the trick is to keep only what you need this way its kept neat and there is more space to move around.

Here are a few suggested tips for small bathrooms:

keeping the space below the sink free lets the room breathe and you will have more room to move around.

An all white and clutter free style will ultimately make your small bathroom feel larger.

Build shelves above the toilet It is often an underutilized space in the bathroom.

A large mirror, extending from the sink to the ceiling will also makes the room feel larger.

If you want to add furniture, wireframe takes up less visual space.

Treat your shower curtain as a piece of art, this way your bathroom let’s the curtain do all the talking.

Use bold wall paper especially if the rest of the room is white.

You can have a gallery wall in your bathroom but remember to keep it small.

Display your towels in a neat, rolled up, organized fashion and keep them on higher shelves.

The higher your shelves are the better this will draw the eye upward, it creates the illusion of more space in your bathroom.

Organization is key in a small bathroom so you will have to consider using glass containers to hold things like bath salts, soap and moisturizer.

Keeping your bathroom neat and clutter free will give you more room to move around. Remember sometimes, less is more.
