Their Royal Highnesses’ first official tour as a family is in South African!

Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will undertake an official visit to Southern Africa.

Prince Harry, Meghan and their son’s royal tour will be between Monday 23rd September and Wednesday 2nd October. The Duke of Sussex will also visit Angola and Malawi and will undertake a short working visit to Botswana while in the region.

Prince Harry, Meghan’s ten day tour will begin in Cape Town at an education workshop in one of the townships, They will then visit District Six museum in Cape Town.

In South Africa, the family will meet Nobel Prize winner Desmond Tutu, President Cyril Ramaphosa and Graca Machel – widow of president Nelson Mandela.

The royal family is to remain together until Wednesday, Harry will travel alone to Botswana, Angola, and Malawi and Meghan will remain in South Africa, where she will conduct various activities to raise awareness about women’s rights.

The duchess and baby Archie will reunite with Prince Harry in Johannesburg next week. The pair will complete the tour together and fly back on 2 October.

Prince Harry and his family will be flying commercial after Meghan came under fire for using private jets several times during the summer.
